Publication on advanced methods for the maintenance of the Swiss transmission grid
The Swiss Federal Office of Energy has published our research using data-driven and deep-learning methods for monitoring and predictive maintenance of the Swiss transmission grid.
The electricity grid, facing challenges such as aging and increasing electricity demands, needs regular maintenance to ensure reliable operation.
Dr. Laya Das, Dr. Mohammad Hossein Saadat, Dr. Blazhe Gjorgiev, and Prof. Giovanni Sansavini investigated data-driven and advanced deep-learning methods for monitoring and predictive maintenance of the Swiss transmission grid. The research was conducted in collaboration with Swissgrid AG through the IMAGE project funded by the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE).
